ok I went to my local music store and they had a nomad and I played my LP custom thru it and I must say I was really surprised on this amp is sound great and very versatile. So now I was thing of selling my F-50 and getting a nomad. Tell me what good about this amp and what’s not
Thanks

I have to say these amps are awsome, honestly,I know play a dual rec as its more what I was lookin for but I also have a Nomad 100 1x12",It sounds huge, the 3 channels are all fab. I particularly love the 2nd(amber)channel,The cleans are crystal(although I use a telecaster so a les paul may sound different),The 100watt version has the graphic EQ which is great for taking the 3rd channel and scooping out those mids, metal style,I cant big these amps up enough,They are as mesa put it the next line of MK series(well when they came out),they are tonal monsters,I use mine on 50 watts as Its too loud on 100watts,ton's of headroom and I can only dream of one played through a 4x12" because my 1x12" sounds gigantic so a 4x12" would be beastly
the only reall down side,as with every mesa is its weight,It is one heavy mothertrucker,I think better than the F series, thats my opinion

Hands down the best amp I've owned. Very reasonably priced and the tone is dynamite. It does it all for the most part. I own a Nomad 55 4x10 combo. The thing is sweet. 3 channels 2 modes apiece. Clean country twang, SRV, AC/DC, Killswitch.....nails those tones pefectly. I've dialed in around 40 distinct tones, many of which are unique. I fall in love with different channels at random, over and over again. It's sick! Channel 1 pushed is my current fav. This combo is smokin. From lush sparkly cleans to the serious beef of channel 2. I mean blues tones pour out of it. Channel 3 could be a bit louder but I just stomp on the solo switch at the same time and no issues(usually). If I'm out at a gig I just set the levels to channel 3. I only use reverb on clean tones which I utilize channel 1 for so the weak reverb on channel 2 and 3 doesn't bother me. It sort of like ch.1 Fender ch.2 Marshall ch.3 Mesa IMO. I tried a Nomad 45 head and liked it but this massive 4x10 combo suits my needs perfectly and sounds better to boot. It has stock Alninco speaks and came with a midi footswitch which is nice....no pops. Anyways, This amp has ruined me. Mesa customer for life now. Looking to add a Mark IV and a Stiletto to the collection soon. At 800usd for a mint condition amp it was very much worth it.

Good Luck

Nomads UNITE!!! :)
