Nomad... middle ground between Maverick and Mark IV???

I'm looking for the middle ground between the maverick and Mark IV... Mark Iv is too edgy and the Maverick a little too smooth...
However, they are both awesome amps... is the Nomad a respectable middle ground b/w the two?

Maybe you should check out a DC-5 or DC-10. They're Mark-ish with some Recto roundness on the lead channel.
