Hello, folks
I am new to the forum.
Hope this is the proper place to ask my question.
I have searched and not found my specific problem. (insert link here to exact problem, that i was unable to find).
Amp is a nomad 55 combo.
Problem, right away after warm up the volume or signal on all channels (drop out and in) continuously. like a pulsing.
drops to nothing real fast, then comes back real fast. kind of a fade. channel 2 acts differently than 1 and 3 it seems.
Things ive tried:
(1)searched the web for similar issues with any mesa models
(a)Swapped tubes
(b)cleaned all jacks with electronic cleaner
(c)plugged guitar straight into from of amp (not thru pedals)
(d)short cable in effects loop
(e)cleaned tube prongs and sockets
(f)looked over board for any issues
(g)made sure the ground screw was making contact with foil on inside of cab
(h)turned all knobs to move sum dust around
i think thats about it.
I do have plans to take it in, but i enjoy learning and seeing if i can fix my own things.
Here is a sound clip. i start with channel 1 then 2 then 3 then back again. in the start i let you
hear the hum with not strumming first.
well i cant seem to attach a mp3 file? if anyone wants to hear it
i can email to you. or is there a way to upload sound on here?
thanks
