Left solidstate behind and ventured into tube territory...
1. after playing for about 10-15 minutes a squeal or feedback type of sound begins accross all 3 channels. sometimes it goes away but not always, do i need new tubes?
2. i removed the 2 inner 6l6 tubes to bring it down to 50 watts. if i also lower the power using the switch in the back (half power) will it then become a 25 watt amp? is this safe?
3. channel 3 has massive gain/overdrive but i cannot distort on channel 2 no matter what i do. is this normal and therefore need an od pedal on ch 2?
