Noisy Mark V effects loop with G-Force rack

I have a Mark V and I am using a TC Electronics G-Force in the effects loop.

There is an incredible amount of hiss and noise at times. I am using long chords 25 feet for both guitar and the two in the loop.

Should I be considering new chords or should I simply be investing in a Rocktron Hush or equivalent noise gate? All this said the G-Force has a Noise Gate in it already. I don't use it. Should I start there?

Start with shorter cables in the loop.
