Noise with Mark IIc+ (please help)

Hey guys,

When set to a high gain setting fairly loud, does your Mark IIc+ make a lot of feedback and hum? Mine does. It did before the new tubes and it still does it with the new tubes I just put in.

I don't know if I would ever be able to play it loud because of the feedback.
I'm using a Gibson Les Paul Standard.

Does this happen to you guys? Also, do you have a good high gain setting you can share?

With unpotted pickups it sqeals like a pig and hums when you roll back the guitar volume.

Did you try some different preamp tubes- a few times? Especially V1.

mine does this too, it is normal when you put it in high gain settings

ISP Decimator or a Rocktron Hush Super C in the FX loop. Problem solved!
