Noise gates

What would you suggest for a Noise gate for a Dual rec. I am looking for something around $200 tops.

I'm a huge fan of the old Rockman Smartgates (so is EVH). The Dunlop Smartgate is basically the same as the Rockman with a few upgrades. The pedal is $99 I think but you can also get a rack version which has 2 gates in a 1U format.

i vote against rocktron hush... i used to have the pedal and it sucked the tone right out of the amp

I used to have a Boss NS-2. Even at minimum settings it was too slow. I liked the mute function. Anyway, now I have a PSK NSG-2, that was cheap, but is faster. I will use it just until I get the Decimator pedal.

I never notice any tone sucking with my hush rack, is your pedal true bypass???? you could avoid tone sucking on pedals just modding them to a true bypass system

I have a programmable and regular Hush in my Bradshaw switcher, I used it for years.....I had no idea how much BETTER the Decimator ProRack G was until I tried one...INCREDIBLE!!! One setting does clean and distortion, no screwing around no tone loss.....perfect. It keeps this beast stone cold quiet.
