Hey all - just sharing a pic of my new guitar - it's a 2014 Gibson R8 VOS - sunrise teaburst. Took a pic of it along side my 2013 Gibson R9 VOS in faded tobacco. 8) 8) 8)

...my wife said no more guitars for the rest of the year! haha.

thanks all! I know I will probably end up eating my words, but I can't ever see myself selling either one of these - actually thinking about unloading some other guitars because of them - Gibson's custom shop is like night and day compared to their standards - not saying at all that the standards aren't really nice (I really like the traditionals), but the historics just have such a rich quality feel to them, can't explain it but you probably know what I mean if you own/have played one.
