new speaker choice?

I have a .50 caliber + combo that I would like to install a new speaker into. At the present, I think someone had put a 200 watt JBL into it. I have been researching and I'm down to a few choices but I would like to get some opinions from the board. I play rock / blues. What would you go with and for an amp that is approximately 40-50 watts, how do you choose the wattage of the speaker? Thanks for any help or insight you can provide.

you usually wanna choose speaker wattage above that of your amp in order to avoid speaker distortion, but for a singe 12" and a 50w cab its just not possible. Some 12" may handle 100w, however, a 50w tube amp at full whack is going to use a lot more 100w.

So nevermind power handling, just pick a speaker you like.
Celestion vintage30s are pretty much great all arrounders.
