Gas got the best of me and I sold my stiletto to purchase this Roadster.
I got to open it up last night. Loop off, 100 watts, diodes, master at about 2-3 o'clock.
Unbelievable!
I am wondering about the serial #. Is there a way to decipher it to find build year? It is VR 0028xx. What does VR mean? Does the number mean it is the 28 hundedth that year or in production? I know I can pull the head to see the date I just don't really want to if I don't need to.
Any help on this topic would be appreciated. By the way this is a great forum and I have gotten alot of very usefull info from it, keep it up.

I've never played the head. I owned the 1x12 combo about three years ago and I never bonded with it. I ended up trading it for a Lonestar V2. My playing style has changed alot over the past couple of years. I actually got to take this one home for a few days and try it out before I bought it. I couldn't be happier. It is absolutely amazing. The 1x12 I had used to fart out at high volumes, this 2x12 punches you right in the chest. I have a 2x12 extention to go with it that I seriously doubt I will ever need to use. It is a bit on the heavy side(thank you side handles).
I have never made an instant connection with an amp like this one. It really posseses the best qualities of my favorite mesas, and the red is kick ***.
