Hello all..
Just wanted to say that after much deliberating, forum reading, and extensive youtube video searches, I finally picked out the Mesa Roadster head w/Recto 4x12 cabinet. I looked at ENGL, Diezel (sp?), Bogner, VHT, Mesa, Orange, and Rivera..
Unfortunately, where I'm located there was absolutely no way for me to actually play around with any of these amps..
I felt the Roadster was the most versatile out of the others I was looking at in my price range. The only thing that kinda sucks is that the store only had the cab in stock and the head has a 3-week wait :(
So now I've got a 4x12 cabinet just sitting here looking all lonely with no head on it.. LOL..
But, the wait will be worth it I think.. 8)

the roadster is an AMAZING amp. it is worth waiting for I promise!!!!!!!!!!!!

the waiting it self is tough. hope you survive. tell us about it when it arrives

I think it will be worth the wait also..
I will be definitely be posting pics of my setup once I get the head in finally..
I'm thinking of picking up a couple pedals also.. I'm looking to grab an Analog Man Chorus (w/deep switch), and possibly the comprossor.. His pedals seem to get stellar reviews on Harmony Central.. Just curious if anyone here had first hand experience with one or both pedals.. The G-System looks awesome, but i think I wanna stick with a few really nice pedals and let the amp sing.. I've currently got the Fulltone OCD, and Supa-trem. The only other thing i will be adding to that is either the teese picture wah, or fulltone clyde deluxe wah..

Well, Tom Petty had it right, the waiting is the hardest part.. LOL.. :D

The Analogman stuff is nice- I dont like his comprosser as much as the Tone Press or T-Rex, but thats just me- also the chorus is very nice, but I found it better in FRONT of the amp rather than the loop. Right now I am working on re-building my board......the Roadster is a monster-No Doubt....

I've had a Roadster 2x12 Combo for about a year - it's more sonically flexible and louder than any amp I've ever played. Four channels of bliss. I think you'll be happy you got the head and cabinet. The head is heavy enough, but the Roadster is a back breaker. I have mine sitting in my rehearsal studio on top of a Marshall 4X12 Straight cabinet and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Forgive my lack of understanding, but a Roadster is basically a Dual Recto with another channel and some very cool options on the back panel right? A more simplified Road King. I have a Dual Recto and am thinking of getting a roadster in the future.

Me too.. I've gotten rid of quite a few and am down to my "basics"..
I currently have a Boss TU-2 Tuner,
EH Lil Big Muff Pi,
Fulltone OCD,
and Fulltone Supa-Trem tremolo

I'm ordering the Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah,
MXR Carbon Copy,
AnalogMan Clone Chorus w/deep switch

I'll get the AnalogMan Comprossor later down the road..
The only pedal I'll try out in the FX loop will be the Carbon Copy..

I am getting very anxious though. I keep watching them **** youtube videos and I know it's gonna sound 10X better in person!! LOL..
Any roadster owners have any good quality vidoes for me to check out?
I'd prefer all (4) channels also, a majority of youtube stuff is channels 3 & 4..
Granted there are a few good ones with the cleans, but I was just wondering if any of you guys had some vid's to share..
Thanks all..
Have a good weekend!!! :D
