If you are a high gain player the SC250 is about as hot as it gets from PRS. I'm not. I got to try the new SC245 last week and really liked the sound ... very classic LP. I would go so far as to say if you closed your eyes, you would think you were playing an LP Standard. SC245 may be my next PRS.

I brought home a Hiland model and really liked the neck, though 24 frets isnt my thing the guitar was really nice.
I went to polish the thing up and noticed that the finish had some HORRIBLE checking going on all over the guitar's face. It was horrid, i brought it back to the store and got an Anderson...which is, in my opinion, a far superior instrument in every way. Still I kinda miss that hiland
