Howdy fellow Mesa Boogies lovers. I'm new the forum but not to Mesa Boogie or tube amps. I have been repairing tube amps for decades now and build class A tube amps a la MB's Mark Series, the ones with the hardwood cabs. My first was built from locally recovered walnut with dove tail joints. Second was with flame maple similar to what PRS does with guitars. I just scored a Mark IIA Simul-Class with the effects loop and hardwood cabinet. In the process of going through it. I am a lead player and I write music too. i have a nice home studio near to Santa Cruz. Anywho, looking forward to your posts about the best tube amp out there!
