Hi Everyone.
My name is Ben and I am a long-time fan of Mesa Boogie amps.
I've owned and played the Nomad 55 Head and 2x12 Recto Vertical Slant Cab since around 2000, mostly with Les Pauls and Stratocasters.
In 2010 I switched to bass guitar and played the Subway D-800 for a few years. It was awesome but I replaced it with the Subway D-800+. Both are excellent bass amps and I appreciate the additional features on the + model; I also use Subway 1x12 and 1x15 cabinets.
I mostly mess around with rock and hard rock and heavy metal...and I'm not very good...but I certainly love to play, especially live.
Now in 2024, I'm bringing guitar back into my regular playing routine, so the Nomad is coming out of storage. Glad to have found this forum!
Cheers! Boogie!
