Hi guyz,
I'm very happy to join this community!
I got the Boggie's bug a couple of months ago. My first big amp (more than 20 watts), my first Boogie!
This is a Mark 1 RI in really good shape I got at a faire price from a gentlement!
Been playing with it since around 5 months and still learning how to use it but I'm getting there!
I'm in a punk/grunge band, playing with a Les Paul or a Tele -> Green Rhino -> Rat -> MK1.
At start that was really a big step up from my little Fender Champ, getting the tone I wanted wasn't easy...
Too much bass, not enough mids I had to read the owner manual 2-3 times before getting it.
Still not the perfect tone, but I'm on my way to it, each time I go to the practice space I take some time to test some alternatives. I think I will dump the rat sooner or later (sad I love this thing) but the MK1 can get alot of distortion by itselft.
Enough speaking, here's a pic:
My cat warnes you to touch it, his laser eyes will destroy you... :lol:
