I just invested in this amp and I have to say this is absolutely the best sounding amp I have ever owned! I plugged my Mark V in and had each channel dialed in within minutes to my liking.
The clean channel is outstanding and with the reverb added in fat mode gives me a full, rich clean that
I've never achieved from any other amp I've owned.
Channel 2 I placed in Mark 1 mode with the gain cranked and the preset eq dialed around 11am. Great low end chunky tone!
Channel 3...holy crap!! Incredible!! My favorite mode is the Mark IV but I found great usable tones in the Mark IIC+ settings as well!
So many options and remarkably easy to dial in tones satisfying to your ears!!
I've owned the duel rec, Marshall, and Blackstar heads and none of those were ever tonally satisfying to my ears.
All of this without using a single FX pedal? I'll drink that koolaid all day long!
I've found a truly inspiring and virtual toolbox of tone in one well rounded head.
I'm glad to be back in the Boogie family!!
