After 5 months... my ED head + 2x12 cab arrived!

I'm still figuring out how to use it, but so far it's sweet.

Suggestions on signal path welcome, here's how i'm setup:

Guitar -> Korg PB Tuner -> Proctavia -> MicroVibe -> OCD -> front of amp
FX Send -> MXR EQ -> Flying Dragon (Boost) -> Fx Return

The Proctavia is fun, but could go away, I rarely use it. (Mostly playing classic rock/blues rock)

I did notice some tone loss, but dialing up the treble and presence slightly seems to make up for it (swapped guitar to front end and through pedalboard to compare) It's all running through a pedalsnake too.

Oh yeah - it's LOUD. Shaking the house loud.

Cheers!

Hell yeah swampdawg !!!...gotta love those blondes man

You know what you gotta try ? NOTHING in the front except your guitar.
Actually, nothing in the loop also. Just try it for a while.
Crisp, clean, mean, phat...it's all there.
This amp is makin' most of my pedals awfull lonely.

Congrats on a beautiful rig.

I've had my 'Dyne since last December and had my TC Electronic rack multi effects unit hooked up ONE time!!!!

I'm not sure if i'll be able to cut through the rest of the band on leads with it by itself. I figured the boost in the loop at least. Or learn how to work my volume knob lol. Leads are not always gainy, some are just acoustic/clean, but a bit louder to get over the other guitar player.

A tuner is mandatory too... I do a fair amount of retuning across some songs (slide work), and after some vigorous bending over a song I'll go flat here and there. Maybe use a headstock tuner instead?

Plugging in the front is perfect (and much easier than tap dancing!).

Cheers!

No- a good tuner shouldnt impact your tone to a degree noticable- but this amp straight up is the most organic ever- (i however has assemble a monster board and it is a great deal of fun...)

+1 - I use a clean boost for leads and nothing else expect the guitar volume control. I've got the tan Bronco too. Looks and tone. You can't beat it.
