need advice-Mark 4 with wah pedal

Okay, so I'll sound stupid, but what else is new.

I love my new Mark IV, the only time I really get to play through it is at a gig or in a rehearsal with a lot of peoples time tied up, so I don't wanna make them wait while I figure out this problem....

I have a Vox wah...I use it a lot, especially clean, always with humbuckers.

Some nights so far it has sounded fine to good with this amp, a couple of night it sounded shrill and horrible. What settings (Pres, treble, mid, do I need to pay attention to when using a wah, and do you Mark 4 users suggest a different wah for this amp?

This doesn't answer your amp settings question, but here's another option. I had my 847 modded to include adjustable trim pots for Q (voice), volume, mid range and bass/gain, plus true bypass. It makes the pedal very adjustable to almost any genre music...from clean funk to screaming high gain. The guy does great work. Here's his website:
