Hi,

I bought a 1x12 extension cab for my Mesa Lonestar classic around a month or two ago with the intention of getting it re-covered to match the amp itself (the extension cab is cream/brown and the amp is navy blue bronco). After researching on here to try and find the elusive silver grille cloth for the job I actually obtained some and things were all ready to be shipped off for re-covering, however it seems that now the company that was going to re-cover the cab can't seem to get hold of any of the navy blue tolex!

I'm desperate to get it re-covered as it's been sat in the box ready to be shipped for around a month now. Has anyone got any idea of where I can get hold of some matching navy blue bronco tolex?

PS. Please also get in touch if you have a navy blue 1x12 Lonestar cab you'd like to trade for a cream/brown one.... (you never know!)

PS. I have already contacted Mesa about this asking if they can either supply some for me or re-cover it themselves but they said no.

If you want, you can contact a local guy here in MA who covered my pedal board with tolex to match my Egnater. He did an awesome job and is awesome to work with. Prices are very reasonable too. Here's his site......http://www.amplifiednation.com

Taylor is a great guy who sent me updates with pics, etc. Tell him Rob with the Egnater matching pedal board sent you.

Good luck!

Thanks,

I've sent him an email, however the only problem is I live in the UK! Obviously to have the 1x12 shipped to the US, to have the work done, and then to have to pay import tax again when it comes back... it would all work out very expensive!

I have asked if I can buy a quantity of the right tolex from him though and am currently awaiting a reply. Thanks for putting me onto him though.

If anyone else has any or suggestions of where I can get some please do still get in touch!

Have you tried these guys?

If that doesn't work, maybe Peter Mather would have some. It's not on his stock list, but I know he has a lot of colors that do not show on his web page http://www.mathercab.com
