All i can say is WOW!!
I have mark V third channel dialed in mkc+ triode/90watt mode and third ch on the mark IV head dialed with harmonics/triode/pres pulled, so very identical tones at the moment to see the differences between the two heads!! I totally see what people see/hear when they say the V isn't the same and the IV is "better". I think the V has its own thing going on, albeit more compressed, STILL sounds great!!! Different strokes for folks i suppose. I personally love both and love the mark tone!
Anyone want to input any suggestions tips for getting the best out of these things??
