Finally came in this past weekend! Express 5:50 Plus - Blue Bronco vinyl, wicker grille, white piping, black corners/handle, C90 12", Mark 'Boogie" badge. I was in a hurry to honeymoon this thing so you only get 2 crappy phone pics...ok I just added a 3rd. So good to back in the Boogie family.

I gotta thank my wife - I initially wanted a wine-colored vinyl with the wicker grille and some kind of tan piping. She comes along at just the right time as the dealer was showing me the option chart and suggested ALL of the cosmetic options and, for some reason, I let it go. Good thing. Effin' gorgeous in my eyes!

Unbiased 1st impression: Incredible tone, seriously. And extremely easy to dial in. The Lonestar clean channel is amazing, full, rich, detailed, multi-dimensional, deep, etc.. Same channel's "crunch" mode is delicious as well, lots of harmonics and very dynamic. Channel 2 has the Blues mode which is dynamic enough to double as a beautiful clean channel if you wanted to use channel 1 on 'Crunch". Blues mode needs its own full-page review I think, as this mode has an incredible amount of low/mid gain versatility. Channel 2 'Burn' mode is liquid Boogie lead tone of course! ALSO - channel assignable multi-watt is awesome! Almost as awesome as the 5-band graphic EQ adopted from the Mark and switchable boost and reverb functions. AND I've only logged about 3 hours on it. GAS cured, selling some dirt boxes!
