It's probably not a good idea to use genuine 6L6GBs of any type in a Mark, except in a Mark IV set to Tweed. (And presumably the MkV if it has this, I've never seen one yet.) Their voltage ratings are lower than GCs, and below the plate and screen voltages in most standard higher-power 6L6 amps. The same would be true in a Rectifier unless set to Spongy - you might get away with it in Bold/Tube as well, but it's pushing it. This is the main reason you don't hear GBs talked about much and they aren't as expensive as GCs for NOS types - they're just not as useful for most guitar amps.
