have them in stereo, mark IV being the master

I bet playing in front of that brick wall is nice too.

the signal path goes like this

guitar - mark IV - effects loop R - mark IV effects return
- effects loop L - single rec effects return

so basically the mark Iv pre is powering both power sections
can do it the other way around too
and can also get both amps to run through the 4x12 in stereo

www.mp3.com.au/peat

i have a heap of soundclips there
some are old and dodgy
but some showcasing the mark IV would be
-tribute 2006
-2006 2nd part
-impeatrovise
-brass bucaneers

tell me what you think
thanks guys

hey deskman, i'm the same shep from the Jp forum, we both go mk iv's at the same time..

great rig...i have gone from that same sort of thing..3 channel dual with my mk IV then i sold that and got a mk III blue stripe with the C+ tranny the 562003 output tranny.. SOUNDS UNBELEIVEABLE...so tight so sweet..

Wat tubes are you using in your mk iv at the moment i am using the JJ's...they are pretty good..

anyway cool to see your rig

so you sold your mark IV?

how much and where did you get that blue stripe
sounds good
do you like it more than the IV?

my IV has still just got the stock mesa tubes in it
im not sure if they are the original ones
but the amp was only about 2 years old when i bought it so im guessing so
ill get new tubes WHEN I HAVE SOME MONEY!!

anyway
got any clips of your mark III?

no..i sold my dual recto...and i have my mk IV and my mk III..

the Mk III i got for $1890 with a anvil road box from a pawn broken down the road from where i live..it's a silmi/export/Eq/REV/med head.. so basicly a fully loaded one..the C+ tranny means it has a identical IIc+ power amp and the lead channel isn't much different from the C+.it's a pretty good fined.i have to say that i like the tone from the mk III Alot more to the Mk IV..but i think the mk iv still is the great just differnt AND ALOT MORE FLEXABLE THAN THE MK III..

i started recording today..Cd will be out in a month...or two..so there will be clips

I keep coming back to this, all I have to say is,awsome

really nice rig man,Im thinkin along the same lines as you, dual rec for the now,MKIV in a little while,A/B between, ahhhh sounds like heaven, tonal heaven

definitely is

not only a/b'ing between them
but running them in stereo
you could even split and have both amps working independantly
but i have the mark IV as the master

wonder what it would sound like with them both running their pre's into their power's?

I will be running a Mark IV and Dual Rec rig soon. Everytime I see these pics I get more anxious awaiting my amp to come.
