Just finished putting my new rack together so I thought I'd post a few pics.
It came about as there were a couple of items I wanted that are only available in rack form and it kind of grew from there. I got a fair bit from fleabay so it wasn't too expensive and I've really enjoyed researching and sourcing the gear and finally building it.
I use the sliding shelves and drawers to store floorboards, footswitches and cables etc. to keep everything tidy as it drives me nuts mooching around for stuff I can't find. I'm not big into pedals but I have a couple and have my eye on a couple more so I'll probably use on shelf for those and take one out to make room for a GCX switcher (or similar) to control everything.
I can't say it would be particularly practical for regular giggers as its pretty big and heavy but for a home/practice studio I think its great.
