I've gone away from the 5 watt setting - good for some things at times but as a matter of rule, I'm living in the 15 watt world now. My big "discovery": less drive = a smoother overdrive tone.

Drive - 10:00-10:30
Gain - 2:00-2:30
Treble - 1:00-2:00
Mid - 12:00
Bass - 10:00
Presence - 2:30ish (really set to taste on this one)

15 watt / Thickest setting.

This gives me a nice overdriven tone that accepts a Fuzz / Heavy Distortion pedal quite nicely. Stock tubes and speakers with the Lonestar Specail 1x12 and a 1x12 ext cab.

As always, your mileage may vary. :D

I'll try the setting on my LSC and see if it sounds good too!. BTW how does your rig sound differently with the ext. cab hooked up. Does it chage the tone, or just add volume. I've been thinking of adding a wide-body classic 1X12 cab to my setup for outdoor or large venues. Would it be worth it?

Well, it definitely widens the sound a bit - adds more volume and size. The tone is pretty much the same, just a bit more seperated with the two speakers, if that makes any sense...
