Those are nice. It looks like they are stepping up their game a little lately. Heritage headstocks are what kill it for me though. It always looks like the headstock is an afterthought on every model.

Consistently to their "heritage" name and tradition, the headstock is a nod to the historic snakehead headstock. Functionally it provides a straight pull, arguably better that the "open book" headstock. Aesthetically... we get in the realm of opinion, and of course tastes are different.

Personally I like the headstock, but in any event my H150 (the LP style) or my H535 (the 335 style, which by the way smokes 100% of the 335 I have ever met at least from the point of view of the look) or my H357 (the bird) sound so good that the last think I think about while I am playing them is the shape of the stock.
