I liked your tone but I hated the riff, chords or whatever . :D

We all have different tastes, that's what makes this board so unique. I'm sure not everyone would agree with your tastes as well, so take the negativity else where. Constructive critism is always welcome.

yeah I really liked it, nice tone, you didn't push the knobs to 11 like a lot of guys do to get that 'dual recto' tone and sounded great, makes it look like the recto can do a lot more than just heavy metal, hard rock stuff.

Cool music too, liked the progression of high notes over the chord.
just a question though, how'd you put the drums in there? live, software, midi?

Hey Blinkie. Great recording. I dig the tone and also from a style standpoint - I happen to be a fan of that type of chord structure stuff as well. Well, how about some settings! What all was used here...

great tone for the style of music. lots of clarity. the riff itself is great. it can be tightened up a little to coordinate with the drums, but it's good nontheless.

hey, i like it too!

thanks for sharing it, blinkie!

hi guys,

first of all, thanxs for all the repplies. I will now describe how I recorded it.
So I plugged my fender telecaster with a dimarzio tonezone pickup and brand new strings to my 3ch dual rectifier (orange channel in vintage). The cab is a marshall 1960AV, I placed to mics in front of it: shure sm58 and shure beta 57, recorded two different tracks, one with each mic and the just panned hard left/right.

The drums were made with a midi keyboard and a plugin wich fires a sample for each midi note: Best Service Artist Drums.

About the settings, I will post them later on.
If ya have some questions in the mean while feel free to comment.
bye for now and thanxs once again.
