I put the DD20 in the loop. It seems to raise the "shrill factor." I guess you could say the highs are alot more pronounced. Bottom line...its better without the DD20.

But I love the DD and I need a delay.
When I put it in line, the gain channel is pretty hissy..not good.
Any suggestions?

FYI....
The FX tube in the F50 is stock.
I am not using "quality" cables for my Fx loop run.(Does that even matter?)

Thanks

I have the same problem with my F30 when I use my DD3. What I have been doing is using the delay with my clean channel and a boost pedal. That seems to work out well.

I have no problems with the DD-20 in the loop of my F-100. That is the only pedal in there, and I am using quality 3 foot cables for send and return. It might be in fact the cables that are actually killing your sound, rather than the DD-20...

As I mentioned on the HC F-Series Lounge thread, my DD-20 sounds incredible in my F-50's loop. I use good cables so maybe look there. Might be an issue with your DD-20 as well. Do you have another amp you can try it with?
