mullards today

Well I got some mullards today and they sound awesome. I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions. I have 2 that test great and 2 that test almost as good. So out of the 5 valves, which ones should I use the strongest tubes in? Thank you for any input.

yeah but if you could only choose 4 valves and 2 are great and 2 are alright. Which valive is the odd one out and which 2 valves should the good ones go in.

You Know ,Sometimes you just gotta beat em up for a while ..
Break em in . Give it some time ..

Move those tubes around ....sometimes a non perfect tube sounds better .

Back in the OLDEN days ..... Wow , this is a cool amp ! I wonder how it sounds when I do THIS ....

I totally dig the way an unbalanced P.I. tube sounds . But that's just me ..

The closer to the input (V1, V2, etc.), the more impact they have on your tone. The first three on my Mk III are NOS Mullard.
