Modern metal lead/solo tone (Mesa F-50 home recording)

Hi guys,

Here's another song that demonstrates the tones available from Mesa F-50 head. All the lead work (instrumental solo section and the ending solo) was F-50 recorded through a Framus 2x12 with V30's, miked with a SM57 and some $100 ribbon mic. Once again I can't but hype what this little beast can do! A real bang-for-the-buck animal. If you have any questions regarding the recording setup or amp settings, let me know.

The rhythm parts were recorded with an ENGL Thunder 50 head. Keep on rocking!

I think the mix would sound way better with a different drum tone. It just sounds too mechanical. A more acoustic sound would really free up this mix a lot.
