Modding a studio 22 to 22+

I might get the studio 22 in a couple of days, but its the version without the 2nd channel volume control (and without the graphic, unfortunatelly).. So, has anyone of you ever added a second channel volume on the 22? Is it hard, is there a schematic/tutorial how to do it?

Also, will it be "the same" if i put a graphic eq of some sort in the loop as if it had an onboard graphic?

There are many folk who prefer the 22 to the "plus"

If you want a plus, you should've bought a plus! Please don't hack up that 22 :!:

The only modifications you should make are the internal ones found here:

Placing an EQ in the effedts loop probably won't sound as good as the 5-band, but it's always worth experimenting.

Would those work with a Studio preamp? Mainly in terms of cleaning up the cleans?

well, i've read on the H-C reviews page that some guys added that second volume control and that it's not hard to do...
if i get, i'll see if there's need for that, i only wanted to know if its possible
