When I had my 10/50/100 Lonestar, I would get a pop when channel switching in and out of the 10W mode. This would occur with the mini toggle or if I had one of the channels set to 10W and the other to 50W or 100W. I read some where that the pop had something to do with switching from single ended to push-pull circuitry.

Any of you guys with the MkV noticed this with your new amp?

someone posted that the m5 does indeed pop when going between channels, but only when the power settings are different...

Im having the same issue, channels 1 and 2 have a light pop but 3 kind has a thick pop to it. Shouldnt be much of an issue but it can be annoying when you know its there. Anyone else with this issue or a quick fix that im missing?

i believe its mentioned in the manual, if one channel is at 10 watts, there will be a pop when switching from any other wattage. this is due to the extreme change of power output

Tried both.. The gcx and the footswitch give off the same level of pops...I thought maybe the gcx was causing it but its coming out of the head itself.

I just got the head yesterday.
In 10W all channels, I had the pops...

But I haven't read the manual completely, and I didn't try the recto trick: while in stand-by, switchs between channels many times to remove the static....

I will try it...
