MKIII speaker cab ohm question

I've got a MKIII, as you know it's got the 1 8ohm and 2 4ohm speaker outs, well, my 4x12 is 16ohm and I'm not re-wiring it to 4ohms...so which output jack is safe? the 8ohm or one of the 4ohm jacks?

Plug your 16ohm can into the 8ohm jack. You're good to go
