Hi,
I have seen the numerous references to the original MkII and IIB reverb circuit being "noisy", can anyone more accurately indicate what form this "noise" takes? I've just recapped and retubed my IIB and it sounds excellent, the reverb is basically fine, no hiss or hum, but on louder, lower notes, there is some distortion present in the reverb signal, very low level. Is this the noise which was inherent in the design, or do I have another issue to work out?
