MK IV tubes and switch ?

Got my Mark IV combo, REALLY needs new tubes!
Wondering if anyone has tried running short bottle 6L6WGB's through it? I had some in my Two Rock and liked them very well.
I was thinking a pair of them on the outside and regualr on the inside. This way when running just the outside set they would break up earlier and compress easier, thus lower volume application. Any thoughts?

Also, the FS is supposed ot mount to the backside, there are two holes, but i got no hardware for mounting it, what would I use? Simple bolt and nut from any hardware store or?

Can't help ya on the tubes, but the footswitch should have some bolt type things attach that fit into those 2 holes on the chassis. Give them a twist and they should secure the fs.
