I have been performing some maintenance on my MKIV-A and noticed what looks to be a broken off resistor. This could of course be something from the underside of the board. Is anyone else missing this from their MKIV-A?

I could take the main board out but this is a compact ..

So I have been looking at the missing R383 resistor and it seems other people have it in place for the MKIV-A. There is a bit of a different configuration in this area from the A vs B models. I think I am going to try Mesa support and see what they say.

R383 is a 100R 1W resistor on the 12v on the Switching matrix D3 ahead of Q6!

should be there , maybe under the pcb ? have you some issue with the ftsw?

I got feedback from Mesa

R383 is not actually missing, otherwise the amp wouldn't switch correctly.
R383 was upgraded in wattage and hardwired onto the board at pin 5 of V1 as part of a MKIV update.
