I was out at a jam with my ROV (which is now working just fine) and there was a guy there with a Tremoverb. In the back I noticed that he had mismatched output tubes...he told me he used Tungsol 5881 and Groove tube 6L6S. He said the qualities of the different tubes gave him a better sound.
Any harm that can arise out of that sort of thing? Seems like a pretty dangerous thing to do.
