Has there been any mods for this kind of thing? I was thinking of hooking outboard gear to the FX Loop if I could have access to it without switching channels!

Peace

Not sure I follow you. If you send a patch change to the Triaxis, as i recall you can make it turn the FX loop on or off without changing anything else. You just have to define a preset with all the same tone control settings as the original preset, but with the effects loop in the opposite state (on or off).

I sold my Triaxis a couple of years ago, but this is my recollection.

ylo,

Yeah I can do that...I really want to be able to turn it on and off and not have to switch to another patch but maybe that's my only option.

Yes, I think you are stuck. If you have a MIDI footswitch that can send TWO program control change messages at once on different MIDI channels, then you can control the TriAxis and your FX unit(s) independently without having to muck around with MIDI mapping.

You could build a DPDT footswitch to bypass the FX loop manually, but that would mean having to stomp on something extra, which kind of defeats the purpose of MIDI -- automation.
