I have seen a lot of shows that were powered with Meyer Sound. Until this weekend, I had never had the opportunity to play through one of these systems. Friday night, I played a charity gig, the sound system was supplied by quality entertainment in ottawa ontario. It was comprised of 2 meyer sound subs (not sure of the model) and two meyer sound tops. I was quite surprised at the sound quality of these speakers. If you ever get a chance to rent a set of these (not many people can afford to buy them).. .go for it... unbelievable.!
Unfortunately the sound guy couldn't get a handle on our sound by the time our short set was up, but the sound was still top notch.
The beauty of these things are that they are powered, and you not only can loop through the audio, you can also look through the power. One 20-amp plug can supply up to 6 of these speakers power.
Of course the price tag means I'll never own these, and rarely rent them (2800 bucks rental for one night with a mixer, and yorkville powered monitors).
