Metallica helpless tone

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had gotten close to the tone on "helpless" it's such a brutal and nasty sound. I've been working at it but can't get it just right. Has anyone had any luck with that one?

Running a dual recto tremoverb.

Would definitely be a little more difficult to nail that tone with a Recto. I'd recommend you boost the amp and run an EQ in the loop to fine tune it.
