Can anybody tell me off hand how a transfered warranty works with Mesa?
If I buy an amp used from somebody and it still has about 4 years left of its original 5 year warranty,, what would I or the new owner have to do to be covered by that warranty???

Many thanks

The original owner signs the receipt over to you and gives you the receipt.

If you have any warranty issues, you will send a copy of the receipt to Mesa.

The way my local dealer explained it to me is... you must get the original sales receipt in order to have any warranty work performed on the amp. I have not called Boogie to verify this but it seems logical to me.

I called Mesa once and they told me to simply call them and give them the information of the new owner. But, something tells me the receipt should be in the equation as well...
