I am thinking about getting the Vertial Reco slant front 2x12 cab and was wondering if anyone is using it in here. Also if you are any idea how it would compare to the OS Recto 412 cab?

I had one for quite awhile and loved it, but eventually replaced it with a 4x12. Consequently I never really got a chance to A/B them at the same time.

I remember it very fondly - it sounded great and the slanted speaker really put the sound in your face, too. If you can find a used one you can probably flip it easily if you decide it isn't up to your standards.

Love my vert 2 x 12. Sounds really powerful. Like dlpasco stated, you get the top speaker in your face! Wish mine didn't have to live at our rehearsal space as I much prefer it to the combo on its own.

Did you have a chance to run the JP-2C though the Vertical 212 when you had it?
I do have two Mesa 412 cabs so no issue there. Looing to get same character but less if that makes sense. Would also prefer the more portable size. Yeah, I know it is only 30lbs less than the OS Recto 412.

Nope, this was a couple of years ago, sorry. For the record, I suspect it would sound excellent.
