mesa mark vs recto, impulses vs real mics

Okay, these clips are test the mark vs the recto, as well as real mics vs impulse responses. I have a sm57 and e609 in real life, and with the impulse, i am using the 57 and the 421, so i got it as close as i could. The impulses mics are set up just like the real mics were, to try and make it seem the closest. The impulses are redwirez mesa 4x12, with v30's. Any questions let me know! (dont mind some of the sloppy playing, i did this fairly quickly!)

first of all i dig your taste in music. second i liked the mic'd clips way better but the impulses were certainly passable. the last clip with both amps on the chevelle song...amazing tone! **** near my dream tone. bet it would sound amazing after some processing in the studio.

Thanks, it doesnt get much better than Tool, right? lol I like the mic'd clips better as well. They both sound good in their own way, but i think they sound best together! I think they would get quite a bit better in a studio as well, they should sound great! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the comments guys! I really like both amps, but the Mark suites me better! They work so well together though!
