Mesa Mark 5

New Mesa Mark 5 that i preordered in January and received in May. It has maybe been played 20 times, I love it but im not into playing like i used to be and im probably gonna get something smaller. I am asking $1,700 obo + shipping. It is the head version with everything including the footswitch and cover. E-mail me at [email protected] if u r interested n i will send some pics. As far as a reference my ebay account is devildriveresp. I also have the traditional straight 4x12 cab but idk if anyone is interested in getting that shipped to them, I am looking for $500 for the cab.

IMHO it's odd he posted it for sale here and only waited 1 hour before listing it on ebay.

That and the fact that he posted a Mark IV here as well and as soon as someone showed interest, he bumped the price $200.

He bumped the price because I offered to buy it off him for more if he kept hold of it for me while I sold some of my gear.

lol, u guys do an awful lot of speculating. But you will all see when the Mark IV arrives at boardmember scottyy's house tomorrow. I kinda understand the speculation but saying my Mark IV and Mark 5 listings are fake with no evidence makes no sense. You guys are funny, but you will see when scottyy post about his great Mark IV and my ebay score goes up for the Mark 5.

Man, I hope you are legit.


One of the points of having this community of guitar players is so people don't get screwed. That's why there is a 10 post rule before you can post on classifieds because no one wants people that no one knows anything about just hoping on the board and selling stuff. You may be legit but a lot of others aren't hence the rule and the suspicious attitudes.

The IV will be arriving at my friends house tomorrow. I'll get him to send me pics. If it works out, the pictures should end the suspicions about him.

He may rush his posts here (reason for the suspicions most likely) but I've been speaking to him a lot via email and he's a good guy.

I just checked the guys mark v ebay auction. It got sold on ebay a few days ago but it's now deleted and the username name is no longer a registered user. Weird stuff. :?
