Is the out jack parallel or series?

You could switch the wires around to make it series. You would have to put a shorted dummy plug in the out jack when not using the other cab.

It's not really that important. The cab is being traded in for a 16ohm Orange in two weeks....I was hoping I could easily daisy chain two together for some experimenting until then, but it can wait.

So I never understood, with two Recto cabs, could'nt you run 8 ohm out of your head > Recto cab in > cab out > 2nd cab in? Or do you have to run two speaker cables from the 4 ohm outs of your head > to each cab's in jack? Same thing?

You need a 4ohm out.

If the amp only has one 4ohm out, you go from head to cab, then from cab to cab.

If the amp has two 4ohm outs, you just go from head to cab twice.
