Ok I got a new Mesa Rectifier cab with Mesa Black Shadows in it 2x12 running 16ohms. I like my Mesa Recto cab 2x12 with vintage 30s in it better. I lost ALLOT of the low end thump with this cabinet (not sure why). I play metal and some rock, is it difficult to change out the speakers? If so where is a good place to buy some new speakers? Thanks

It is very easy. Unscrew the back panel and jack plate, push the jack plate through it's hole and lift the back panel off. Then you'll either have to de-solder the wires or just pull them off if they have spade connectors. Then use an 11/32 nutdriver to remove the four nuts on the speakers and voila!

Reverse the process for installation.

I prefer WGS speakers in Kentucky. They are bulletproof and inexpensive. I recommend combining the Veteran 30 with the ET65 and you will get the tone of your dreams! I have it in a vert slant cab and it sounds incredible. Full and chunky mids with smooth lows and sparkly highs.

I can't improve on that! 8) The ET65 in the top position smooths out the ice pick found in other speakers.
