Mesa Boogie Capacitors

Does anyone know where to get the 220uF/350v filter capacitors? I am looking for the United Chemi-Con brand. Triode Electronics does not have them. I guess I can call Mesa. Please post alternate sources. Thank you!!

Just curious, which amp is this for?

My Mark IIB had a pair of 220uF / 275V caps, which I replaced with Illinois 220uF / 300V.


It's hard to fully re-cap an amp without buying from multiple suppliers. If I thought there would be enough demand, I might consider sourcing a bunch of capacitors and putting together re-capping kits for various amps so people could have a single source.

These are for my Mk IIB. I believe that the original values are @ 275v but the closest Amreican made cap that I know of is the Chemi-Con.

tubesandmore.com sells F&T 220uf/300v caps. So does Allen Amplification

Ah, well that explains it. You can save yourself a few bucks and buy the 220uF 300V Illinois/Ruby caps from this page:
