Mesa 295 for a home audio system??

I've heard of folks using Mesa power amps for home audiophile systems for a few years, but have never seen one in action. Has anyone tried this?

I was using my 295 for a while as my "home music system" power amp. Sounded very nice, clean and warm, loud. But i really don't think you can compare the 295 to the baron. I'm no electronic expert, but just by reading the spec's of the baron, there are definately some major design differences between the two. But if i didn't have my 295 in my rig, i would use it as my home music amp. Nothing like the sound of tubes!! Of course I was comparing it against a Samson Servo-240 that is decent for the price, and using JBL CM52's as monitors. "Your mileage will vary". Good luck!
