I have a friend that installed a MM OT on his DR. It was like taking a blanket off the speakers. We a/b'ed the amp with my stock one using same brand and rating for tubes, as well as same spec'ed cabinet. Both amps sounded great, but his had a way more musical three dimensional feel to the tone. Wasn't so much what you could hear as how you felt the sound.

Well worth the upgrade.
