Tube recommendations LSS

What is everyone using for power tubes? I know Mesa says to use their tubes but is it OK to buy some Mullards, Sovtek’s, TAD’s, etc? I just bought a used LSS and it’s working flawlessly but there’s 2 JJ’s and two of something else in there now. I’d like to buy a nice match set of quads just to be safe. Thanks!

running a matched set of JJs for the last 6 months... no issues.

Ran JJs for a while but went back to Mesas on my last retube.

Mesa doesn't manufacture tubes. They're probably rebranding JJ's. I've got a matched quad of Sovtec I bought in 2004 ready for when I change mine out.

Same here. I thought the Mesa's sounded better.
